YMCA Y Mind Groups

Everyone experiences worries and anxiety. The key is to learn how to make sure these don’t get in the way of doing things you care about!

The Y Mind curriculum is geared towards:

  • Engaging young people in early-intervention mental wellness support.
  • Teach participants skills to cope with mild to moderate anxiety.
  • Educate participants on the main concepts of ACT and Mindfulness.
  • Create a safe environment for participants to connect with others who have similar experiences.

There are two Y Mind groups:

Face to face program intakes will occur over Zoom by appointment with Jane Daigle, Mindfulness Programs Coordinator.

To complete program eligibility screening and book an intake appointment please email Jane at jane.daigle@nbc.ymca.ca
