If a third party, like a parent or caregiver, is paying for your counselling service it is your responsibility to facilitate this direct payment. If the third party does not cover the full cost of the service provided or any fees that may incur, you as the client are responsible for the cost.
Wild Mountain Clinical Counselling offers both fully and partially subsidized services:
If you have been approved for clinical counselling support by YMCA-Jumpstart, and/or First Nations Health Authority your sessions will be fully subsidized and you will not be required to provide payment unless otherwise discussed.
If you have been approved for clinical counselling support by Metis Nation British Columbia, Crime Victims Assistance Program, WorkSafeBC, Veterans Affairs or ICBC your sessions will be partially subsidized, and you as the client are responsible for paying the remainder of the amount owed.
If your sessions are covered by one of the programs above and they do not cover no-shows or late cancelations, you as the client are responsible for the entire cost of the session if you miss your appointment or if you cancel less than 24 business hours before its start time.
YMCA-Jumpstart, and Crime Victims Assistance Program (up to 3 sessions) cover no-shows and late cancellations, whereas First Nations Health Authority and ICBC do not.
If your sessions are being covered by an extended health care benefit plan, you as the client are responsible for determining the following:
If they cover counselling services
Which credentials they cover (R.C.C, etc.)
The amount of coverage (partial or full reimbursement)
Will they cover no-shows or late cancellations
At this time Wild Mountain Clinical Counselling does not directly bill extended health care benefit plan providers, and payment at the end of your session is required.
If you, as the client, do not attend your scheduled, appointment or cancel less than 24 business hours before your scheduled appointment you are required to pay the session fee in full.
This policy is for all clients, including clients who are having their sessions covered by a third party, subsidized program, or extended health care benefit.
